Matthias Springstein

Meine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in dem webgestützten Lernen von visuellen Konzepten und inkrementellen Lernverfahren mit dem Ziel, den Aufwand des manuellen Erstellens und Annotierens von Beispieldaten zu minimieren und somit auch Klassifikationsmodelle einfach auf neue Domänen anpassen zu können. Hierzu ist fortwährende Erschließung von Informationen mithilfe benutzer-generierter Inhalte aus Datenquellen wie Flickr oder YouTube notwendig. Im Allgemeinen interessiere ich mich für Themen in den Bereichen Deep Learning, Konzepterkennung und monokulare Tiefenschätzung.
