Knowledge Infrastructures

Wissensinfrastrukturen sind robuste Netzwerke von Personen, Artefakten und Institutionen, die spezifisches Wissen über die menschliche und natürliche Welt erzeugen, teilen und bereitstellen (nach Edwards, 2010). Die Nachwuchsforschungsgruppe Knowledge Infrastructures entwickelt auf konzeptioneller, Implementierungs- und Anwendungsebene Software-Artefakte in ihrer Fähigkeit, Forschende bei der Generierung, dem Austausch und der Bereitstellung von wissenschaftlichem Wissen zu unterstützen. Als Co-Leiter der Forschungs- und Entwicklungsinitiative Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG) hat die Forschungsgruppe Wissensinfrastrukturen wesentlich zur ORKG-Forschung beigetragen, und zwar in Aufgaben, die von der Konzeptualisierung bis zum Engagement der Gemeinschaft reichen.
