Advisory services and information on publishing and Open Access

Both Leibniz Universität Hannover and Leibniz Association are committed to ensuring that the results of their researchers are available to a wide public.

Would you like to publish Open Access and need help in doing so?

Open Access is transforming many aspects of scientific publishing. TIB offers authors various services to advise them on their rights and options and to support them in their publishing decisions. We advise not only on questions about where to publish, but also on what you should bear in mind when choosing a licence (see Author Rights) or what requirements there are from research funding bodies on Open Access.

If you have specific questions or problems, you can contact us at any time for individual advice. You can book consultations as part of our TIBgefragt service.

Would you like to learn more about Open Access?

You can find on-site training courses and webinars on Open Access and academic publishing in the Course offerings section. In addition, as a project partner in open-access.network, TIB organises the monthly webinar series Open Access Talk, which takes place on the 4th Thursday of every month from 14:00 to 15:00.

We cooperate with the Graduate Academy and other institutions at Leibniz Universität Hannover and regularly offer various workshops and information events here.

We are also happy to come to your institute for counselling sessions and information events.Book a workshop.
