Financing Open Access
Assistance with the costs of producing Open Access publications
Articles published in Open Access journals can be read by all users free of charge and may be used under certain licence conditions. No subscription fees are charged for being able to read the journal. Publishing companies and journals increasingly focus on article processing charges (APC) as an alternative business model. In this connection, the authors of journal articles (and other publications) are now asked to pay towards the publishing costs.
We strive in different ways to provide support in financing the cost of producing Open Access publications.
