The Leibniz Information Center for Science and Technology, University Library (TIB) offers comprehensive consulting, research and support in the areas of knowledge and technology transfer. A central challenge in the innovation process is to transfer the results of research and development into new technologies, products and services and to place these successfully on the market. To achieve this, we work closely with a wide range of multidisciplinary actors and innovation ecosystems, including universities, research institutions, innovation laboratories, startups and established companies, financing and intermediary organisations, regulatory and standardisation authorities, patent offices and government agencies. Besides providing impulses for innovation and developing future technologies, our events and conferences create venues for fundamental debates and discourses in which the issues raised by society are also integrated into our research projects. We communicate the findings from our research activities and projects to business, science, politics, and citizens, thus promoting society's ability to reflect and innovate.
