I am software engineer on the Open Research Knowledge Graph project in the Data Science and Digital Libraries group at TIB. I hold a diploma in bioinformatics from the University of Applied Science in Bingen and am interested in all things tech. Before joining TIB, I researched on multi-variate genetic algorithms at the University of Duisburg-Essen before moving to the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. I worked there as a software engineer and consultant with topics ranging from software development practices, resource planning and setting up a compute cloud for the German Network of Bioinformatics Infrastructure (de.NBI). At TIB, my focus is on developing the back-end technology for the Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG) project, as well as working cross-team to implement a software development and DevOps culture.
Information on my publications, projects and activities can be found in the research information system of the TIB.
