Description
The BigMedilytics project – Big Data for Medical Analytics – aims to improve the European healthcare system from prevention, diagnosis and treatment to home care. The project advances the healthcare sector by reducing costs, improving patient outcomes and delivering better access to healthcare facilities.
Big Medilytics covers the major deadly diseases in Europe: cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, diabetes, prostate, lung and breast cancer.
The Joint Lab will facilitate the deployment of large-scale applications for transforming Big Data into actionable insights able to drive the healthcare sector productivity.
