Gold Open Access for scientific articles from the field of high energy physics
Description
The international pilot project SCOAP3/SCOAP³-DH ensures that scientific publications from the field of high energy physics are available Open Access on the internet (Gold Open Access).
The SCOAP3 Gold Open Access repository was launched on 1 January 2014 following intense preparation work and negotiations with publishing companies and participating organisations.
SCOAP3 publications are under CC BY licences, enabling their optimum reuse, for example images or automated processes such as text and datamining.
In Germany, numerous institutions have joined SCOAP3-DH. They make their financial contributions to TIB, which performs all of the administrative activities for the SCOAP3-DH partners within the project.
