The conference “Open Science and Innovation in Ukraine 2022“ (OSIU2022) was held for the first time on 27 and 28 October 2022 online. Leading expert:s from around the world shared their experiences at #OSICU2022 and discussed how best practices in Open Science can be implemented in Ukraine. The presentations and discussions covered topics such as open access to research infrastructures, open research data and the reproducibility of research results, citizen science and the ethics of Open Science. There were also some contributions from TIB at OSICU2022 – from Prof. Dr. Sören Auer, Christian Hauschke, Lambert Heller and Margret Plank.
