Dr. Anette Ganske

Research Assistant Project AtMoDat

Anette Ganske studied meteorology at the University of Karlsruhe and received her PhD in physics from the University of Marburg. Afterwards she worked in several projects in meteorology. In recent years she has been researching the impact of climate change on the North Sea and transport at the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency. Since July 1, 2019, she has been working at TIB's Lab Research Data Services in the project AtMoDat (Atmospheric model data: Data Quality, Curation Criteria and DOI Branding).

Focus of work

  • Extension of the DataCite DOI metadata schema for the description of atmospheric model data 
  • Development of a technical vocabulary based on DCAT for atmospheric model data
  • Adaptation of the curation processes for the assignment of DOIs
