Open Science Lab

Lambert Heller and Ina Blümel founded the Open Science Lab at TIB in 2013. OSL is now part of TIB programme area C (Research and Development). Ina Blümel holds the professorship "Linked Data in the Information Sciences" appointed by TIB and Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and is responsible for the thematic cluster OpenGLAM within the OSL, while Christian Hauschke leads the Lab Group Open Research Information.

With the Open Science Lab, TIB supports the digital opening of science and culture by helping communities to adopt new methods and tools in their practice.
