How can you search specifically for e-books?

Search the TIB Portal and restrict your search to the media type Book and the format electronic resource.

The results of a search in our catalogue will mainly contain fundamental works that are available as electronic full texts. The Catalogue of online resources at TIB offers additional digital sources

Licensed and ioeb e-book collections can also be found via the specialist databases.

    E-Books on Cambridge Core with approx. 9,000 titles in science, technology and medicine.
  • Ebook Central (EBC)
    Over 66,000 e-books from all of the university's subject areas. Not all titles are already included in TIB's collections. You have the option of submitting a suggestion for acquiring these titles.
  • Wiley Online Library eBooks
    E-books of all subject areas from the publisher Wiley.
  • Hanser eLibrary
    Mainly German-language specialist information for engineers and technicians from the area of Mechanical Engineering as well as for the economic sciences published since 2011.
  • Nomos eLibrary
    Access to e-booksfrom publication year 2007 from the fields of Law, Politics, Sociology and Europe, as well as various Economics titles.
  • OECD iLibrary
    Online library for data and analyses on the Economy, Society and the Environment with access to all OECD online publications, studies and statistics.
  • RSC E-Book Collection
    Royal Society of Chemistry e-books since 1968, with a few exceptions.
  • Springer eBooks
    Over 65,000 titles, mainly in German and English, from the fields of Information Technology and Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, the Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences, including new publications.
