    Abstract Results are presented on differential and total cross sections for seven quasi two-body reactions (π +p→ pA2 +, pB+, Δ ++ η 0, Δ ++ ρ 0, Δ ++ ω 0, Δ ++f0 and Δ ++A2 0) obtained from a simple of approximately 25 000 four-pronged interactions at 5 GeV/c incident momentum. In the forward direction the dσ/dt′ distributions of reactions with final state Δ ++ η 0, Δ ++ ω 0 and Δ ++A2 0 show a dip or flat region. Reaction Δ ++ ρ 0 and Δ ++f0 require a “double slope” fit. The spin-density matrix elements of reaction Δ ++ ρ 0 and Δ ++ ω 0 present evidence for non-sense wrong signature zero's in the π- and ρ-trajectory contributions resp. For the reaction Δ ++ ω 0 both dσ/dt′ and the ωρ 00 spin-density decay element show a remarkable dip around t′ ≈ 0.1 – 0.15 GeV2. Several other features in the “forward” differential cross sections of the reactions observed are discussed and compared with models. Significant backward peaks are seen in reactions pB+, Δ ++ η 0, Δ ++ ρ 0 and Δ ++ ω 0. For two of the most prominent two-body reactions (Δ ++ ρ 0 and Δ ++ ω 0 we have made background studies by applying substractions and studying t′ dependences over the complete Goldhaber plot.
