The invention discloses a method for preparing refined food capable of improving blood sugar and cholesterol metabolism by using germinated brown rice and belongs to the technical field of preparation of bioactive products. The method comprises the following steps: firstly grinding dry germinated brown rice into crude powder, putting the crude powder into an extraction tank, adding pure water, stirring for 6 hours at the temperature of 80-100 DEG C to obtain extract, then respectively adding glutamic acid decarboxylase and amylase, fermenting for 6 hours at the temperature of 70 DEG C, then separating and purifying the extract, concentrating the processed extract to be 20 brix degrees to obtain a final extract, increasing the temperature of the final extract from -60 DEG C to 40 DEG C in 36 hours to obtain germinated brown rice refined food rich in aminobutyric acid; and finally preparing the refined food capable of improving blood sugar and cholesterol metabolism by using the germinated brown rice refined food rich in aminobutyric acid. The refined food capable of improving blood sugar and cholesterol metabolism, prepared by adopting the method, can be used for preventing diseases in aged periods from diffusing to the low-age periods and greatly improving the health conditions of the aged.
