Much has been heard lately about computer crime: unlawful money gaining, data destruction, surreptitious use of machine time, and stealing of computer related assets. But computer crime is not a new thing. In fact, computers have been vulnerable to unauthorized and illegal access. Protection against outright crime and fraud must be considered. In other words, a security program should take into account physical security, data security, the security of system software, access security, and the security of data transmission.
