Steelmaking -- Modernisation - Revamping converter vessels without interrupting production - As part of the steelworks modernisation ThyssenKrupp Steel replaced three BOF converters. The special feature of this project was that the modernisation work took place while production was continuing. The existing installation space and drives were also to be utilised for the new converters.
