Audiovisual Metadata Platform (AMP): Workshop in Bloomington

From 13 to 15 September 2017, a workshop of the Indiana University Libraries and the University of Texas with the company Audiovisual Preserve Solutions will take place in Bloomington (USA). The aim of the meeting is to prepare and plan a future software solution for the integration and management of automatically and manually generated metadata for audiovisual media. The project, which is entitled "Audiovisual Metadata Platform" (AMP), is supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as part of a six-month research grant. Felix Saurbier, a member of the Competence Center for Non-Textual Materials (KNM) at the Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) – German National Library of Science and Technology, is attending the workshop as a technical consultant at the invitation of Indiana University Libraries.
