Lecture: How does "OER" work? at the Bibliotheksleitertag 2019

Event offers current topics and impulses for library work

The OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) Bibliotheksleitertag 2019 (Library Leaders' Day 2019) on 3 December 2019 in Mannheim will once again feature many lectures and sessions on current library topics. One topic is OER – Open Educational Ressources.

In their lecture „Wie geht OER?“ (How does OER work?) Nicole Clasen (ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics), Sabine Stummeyer (TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology) and Daniela Dobeleit (Saxon State and University Library Dresden (SLUB)) deal with OER – free teaching and learning material. They show the potential of OER for libraries and their users, possible service fields and added value for their own institutions and present best-practices from the German project landscape that are intended to encourage imitation.
