TIB at Hannover Messe

Library presents Big Data projects at the world's most important industrial fair

The TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology will present itself from 1 to 5 April 2019 in cooperation with the L3S Research Centre at the Hannover Messe – the world's most important industrial fair with 6,500 exhibitors and more than 220,000 visitors.

At the joint stand of the State of Lower Saxony (Hall 2, Stand A08), the TIB will present various projects dealing with the analysis of big data with the aid of knowledge graphs under the heading "Knowledge graphs – from big data to knowledge relevant to practice".

The project BOOST 4.0 - Big Data for Factories deals with application possibilities in industry. Further examples are the decentralized platform for educational and employment qualification QualiChain, the prototype of the Leibniz Data Manager and the EU-funded research project IASIS - Big Data for Precision Medicine.

In all projects, the use of knowledge graphs supports knowledge finding and simplifies decision-making processes.
