Measures to control the increasing number of COVID-19 infections

The TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library will be closed at all locations with immediate effect. Lending is also no longer possible.Interlibrary loan has also been discontinued, so that interlibrary loan orders are no longer possible.This is a measure to stem the spread of COVID-19 infections.

The TIB document delivery is available as usual.

In our FAQ we answer important questions about borrowing, reminders, renewals, returns and other aspects of library closure. The FAQ are updated regularly.

What TIB services can you use now during library closure and what possibilities are there for searching for and using literature?  In our 30-minute webinar, we will inform members of Leibniz Universität Hannover about current developments in library use, search and other access options from 23 March 2020 (Monday to Friday) at 14:00

Use the digital services of the TIB

All of the digital offerings of the TIB – including e-books, specialist databases and electronic journals – are available as usual. Members of Leibniz Universität Hannover have various possibilities to access these services from off-campus. In the search system of the TIB-Portal you will also find a lot of freely accessible media.

The library doors are currently closed and borrowing on site and via interlibrary loan is not possible. In the TIB-Blog, our staff members present alternative possibilities in numerous articles.
