Apprenticeships at TIB
TIB has been offering in-depth, varied apprenticeships and internships in the field of librarianship and bookbinding for many years.
As the largest specialised library of science and technology in the world and as a large university library catering also for the humanities and social sciences, the library offers apprentices, student trainees and interns a comprehensive insight into the different work routines of a library.
The great range and depth of the target groups served by TIB and the tasks it performs are reflected in its apprenticeships. Those who complete their apprenticeship at TIB are exceedingly well prepared for a career in librarianship, and have every chance of entering the job market.
