Internships

TIB offers all kinds of library internships, from practical training for pupils to specialist practice in ongoing projects. Internships of a predominantly informative nature should be one to two weeks in length. Longer interships can be allocated if the personal requirements enable active involvement in one or more fields of work.

Due to the great demand priority is given to applicants who are undergoing regular training, e.g. library trainees, a university of applied sciences study programme or an apprenticeship to become a Media and Information Service Specialist.

Please send us your application, containing information about your chosen key areas, your Curriculum Vitae and, if applicable, your school-leaving certificate and internship and employment references, at least three months before the intended starting date of your internship. We recommend enquiring about an internship even earlier.
