“Book a Scientist” on 15 June 2022

Speed dating with science: experts answer questions on topics that touch everyday life

At “Book a Scientist” on 15 June 2022, interested people will once again have the opportunity to talk to an expert from the Leibniz Association for 25 minutes and ask anything they've always wanted to know about a particular topic.

Prof. Dr. Maria-Esther Vidal, head of the Scientific Data Management research group, and Matti Stöhr, research associate and community manager from TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology, will also be taking part.

  • Prof. Dr. Maria-Esther Vidal will answer questions about the importance of data in science today and the Challenges and Opportunities of Knowledge Graphs in Scientific Data Management.
  • Matti Stöhr will answer questions on the topic of science videos and why it is important to make knowledge (science) audiovisually tangible and what the TIB AV-Portal has to do with it. Talks are possible in German and English.

You can now reserve 25-minute individual talks with a Leibniz expert. To do so, click on an available appointment of your choice on the Book a scientist website and then enter your contact details and one or two questions about the topic so that our scientists know what you might be particularly interested in. Registrations for talks are still possible until 14 June 2022.

The offer is free of charge. The talks take place virtually.
