The 111th BiblioCon 2023 will take place under the motto ”Vorwärts nach weit” (Forward to Far) from 23 to 26 May 2023 in the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC). In a variety of formats – from lectures to panel discussions to hands-on labs – there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas on various topics. Among other things, the focus will be on shaping everyday working life, qualifications in education and work, digital and analogue infrastructures, community building for libraries as well as data and publications. The Hannover libraries are the organisers of the 2023 event in Lower Saxony's state capital.
The HOBSY association – the network of academic libraries and the Hannover City Library – will have a stand at the 111th BiblioCon from 23 to 26 May 2023 in Hannover within the exhibition (stand no. H1A). There, the libraries will offer a meeting point for all interested parties in the main entrance area of the Hannover Congress Centre (HCC). During BiblioCon, they will also be offering guided tours and events in the various libraries on site. And as in previous years, many TIB staff members will be giving lectures and presentations.
