Bibliothekartag 2023 in Hannover: Call for papers is online

Proposals for lectures, panel discussions and hands-on labs may be submitted from 30 November 2022

The 111th Bibliothekartag (German Librarians’ Day) will take place from 23 to 26 May 2023 in the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC). There will be the opportunity to present a variety of topics in various formats from lectures and panel discussions to hands-on labs.

In six subject areas, the topics include shaping everyday working life, qualifications in training and work, digital and analogue infrastructures, community building for libraries as well as data and publications. Submissions for lectures on the above topics are open from now until 30 November 2022.

The Hannover libraries – the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Bibliothek, the Stadtbibliothek Hannover, the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library and the library of MHH, the Medizinische Hochschule Hannover,– invite the librarians to the state capital of Lower Saxony in 2023.
