In the summer of 2020, Cord Ruben Plate successfully completed his three-year bookbinding apprenticeship at the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology as Chamber Winner 2020. This success has now been honoured with another award: Cord Ruben Plate came first in the competition "Die Gute Form – Handwerker gestalten" (The good form – craftsmen design) of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH) with his journeyman piece, a photo album. Congratulations!

In the meanwhile Cord Ruben Plate is studying conservation and restoration of books and writing at the HAWK – Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft und Kunst in Hildesheim.
