In accordance with the extended lecture-free period at Leibniz Universität Hannover, TIB will shorten its opening hours from 20 December 2021 to 9 January 2022. The reading rooms will remain closed during this period. Only students of Leibniz Universität Hannover who are writing their final thesis can use the reading rooms at the TIB Conti-Campus site during these reduced opening hours, if they can provide appropriate proof.
Literature from the free access holdings can still be ordered via the catalogue and will be issued at the circulation desks during opening hours. Information on how to view literature that cannot be borrowed can be obtained from the TIB Information Desk.
The TIB Technik/Naturwissenschaften (Science/Technology), TIB Conti-Campus and TIB Sozialwissenschaften (Social Sciences) sites – will be closed over the Christmas period from 24 to 26 December 2021 and from 31 December 2021 to 2 January 2022. In addition, the TIB Geschichte/Religionswissenschaft (History/Religious Studies) site will be closed from 24 December 2021 to 2 January 2022. The Marstall building (Patents and Standards Reading Room) has been closed for a long time due to renovation and refurbishment measures.
