The TIB will ropen its circulation desks, including registration/checkout, as well as its reading rooms at the three sites TIB Technology/Natural Sciences, TIB Conti-Campus and TIB Social Sciences from 6 July 2020: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00. The Patents and Standards reading room will also be open again: Monday to Friday from 13 to 16:30.
Access to the reading rooms is now possible for all users of the library, the previous restriction to students, research assistants and professors of Leibniz Universität Hannover will be cancelled. Entering the reading rooms is still only possible for a limited number of people. However, the number of available workstations will be increased - taking into account the applicable hygiene and distance regulations. Masks are obligatory on all ways within the user areas and when visiting the reading rooms. However, the mouth and nose protection can be removed at the workstations.
Waiting times may occur due to the limited capacity of workstations.
It is still possible to collect media from the magazines and open-access collections at all TIB locations from the lending stations.
The TIB History/Religious Studies site will remain closed to the public. Orders from the holdings of the TIB History/Religious Studies site will be made available at the TIB Social Sciences site.
