Recently, the TIB Technik/Naturwissenschaften (Science/Technology) and TIB Sozialwissenschaften (Social Sciences) sites were both equipped with a new overhead scanner. The device can be used to digitize documents up to DIN-A2 format free of charge and save them to a USB stick.
Don't have a USB memory stick with you? No problem – USB memory sticks are now available at the library's circulation desks at a price of five euros.
Test workstations set up at all library sites
In addition, test stations of a new PC generation are available at the TIB Technik/Naturwissenschaften (Science/Technology), TIB Conti-Campus, TIB Sozialwissenschaften (Social Sciences) and TIB Geschichte/Religionswissenschaft (History/Religious Studies) sites: These are the first public computer workstations with improved browser and Microsoft Office equipment. The range of functions and performance can already be tested now, before the PCs at all locations are replaced with new devices from November 2021.
