Jens Lehmann (Amazon), Konrad Höffner (IMISE, Leipzig University, Germany) and
Sören Auer (TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology, Hannover, Germany) has been awarded for the paper “LinkedGeoData: A Core for a Web of Spatial Open Data“ the “Semantic Web journal 10-year award 2022“. Congratulations!

The editorial board of the journal “Semantic Web – Interoperability, Usability, Applicability" from IOS Press chose this paper from all the papers published in 2012. It is about how collaboratively collected OpenStreetMap data can be interactively transformed and represented according to the RDF data model, and how this data can be linked to other geospatial datasets and made accessible to machines and humans using various applications.
