What is an “Elevator Pitch”? You've certainly heard of it, right? The term Elevator Pitch refers to the short presentation of an idea within a very short time – specifically during a ride in an elevator. And that's exactly what the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology does in its new “TIB-PITCH” format. During an approximately 90-second lift ride, you get to know the people, the work and the ideas of the TIB better.
TIB Director Prof. Dr. Sören Auer starts with the first edition, in which he introduces TIB-PITCH and TIB and shows that it is more than just a library. The next issues will follow in the coming weeks: Dr, Anna-Lena Lorenz presents the Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG), a knowledge graph to facilitate scholarly communication, Thomas Bähr introduces digital preservation at TIB and Lambert Heller presents the Open Science Lab. Be curious!
