On 1 and 2 December 2021, the #vBIB21 will start. The focus of the second edition of the virtual conference, that is organized by the Berufsverband Information Bibliothek (BIB) and the TIB, is “Digital Communities”.
What is it about? Digital communities are characterised by interaction and communication in virtual space, for example. They focus on sharing knowledge and experience, foster the creation and expansion of lively networks, inspire each other with impulses and work together on solutions.
The #vBIB21 would like to give these digital communities a forum. Keynotes and impulse lectures by invited experts will provide a cross-community information offer as well as opportunities for exciting discussions around the focus topics of diversity and characteristics of digital communities, free information and data protection in digital communities and artificial intelligence and digital communities.
The Speakers Corner and Tech Corner formats
In addition to the lectures, the programme also consists of two interactive formats:
The Speakers Corner is intentionally kept thematically free and offers plenty of space and opportunities for short presentations, concept ideas, theses, questions and answers, discussions and much more on the topic of digital communities!
The Tech Corner is all about web services, tools, software and mock-ups for participating in communities and supporting community building and management. Whether concrete projects or prototypes, whether as developer or user!
Want to participate? Join in! We look forward to receiving as many exciting ideas as possible by 24 October 2021!
