The dyadic Green's functions (DGF) for an anisotropic (tilted uniaxial) medium have been evaluated for the unbounded and the two-layered cases. Inside the uniaxial medium, there are two characteristic waves, i.e. an o-wave and and e-wave. A wave incident with either TE or TM polarization produces both TE and TM waves when it reflected at the interface of an isotropic and a uniaxially anisotropic media because of its coupling into both the o-wave and the e-wave. With the availability of the DGF for anisotropic media, many layered-medium problems can now be solved. For instance, the problem of radiating a Hertzian dipole with an arbitrary orientation on top of a two layer anisotropic medium can readily be solved.
