The effectivity and quality of the operating principles of the automatic control system for gearing switching into the hydromechanical transmission state depends on the control adaptation for the switching on and switching off functions corresponding to an algorithm, the parameters of which are chosen from the guaranty condition for a flowing movement of the motor vehicle in connection with gear switching. The method based on drift effect has been successfully introduced in surface mining tilting vehicles.
