Die Ausbildung auf dem Gebiet des Maschinenbaus stellt in Dresden einen besonderen Schwerpunkt dar. Nach einem kurzen historischen Rückblick wird auf die verschiedenen Studienmöglichkeiten eingegangen. Neben dem Direktstudium in den verschiedenen Studiengängen wird auf vielen Gebieten gegenwärtig auch ein Aufbaustudium als ein weiterbildendes Studium angeboten. Der Studienablauf mit der grundlagenorientierten Vordiplomphase und der anschließenden forschungs- und praxisorientierten Fachausbildung wird erläutert. Die Verflechtungen zwischen den Studienrichtungen werden gezeigt, wobei insbesondere die für die Textil- und Konfektionstechnik relevanten Ausbildungsrichtungen dargestellt werden. Im Zuge des Bologna-Prozesses sind verschiedene Veränderungen in der Ausbildung vorzunehmen und nach dem Willen der Politik das zweistufige Ausbildungssystem Bachelor/Master einzuführen. Es wird diskutiert, wie sich diese Veränderungen auf die Ausbildung, die Mobilität, die Qualität und Anzahl der Absolventen auswirken, welche Anforderungen damit für den Lehrkörper verbunden sind und was die Industrie an Veränderungen zu erwarten hat. Der bisher erreichte Stand bei der Umgestaltung an der Fakultät Maschinenwesen der TU Dresden wird anhand der neuesten Studiendokumente aufgezeigt. Zukünftig sollen auch weiterhin Angebote für B.Sc.-Absolventen unterbreitet werden. Als ein Beispiel dafür wird der neu einzurichtende Masterstudiengang Textil- und Konfektionstechnik (Textile and Ready-Made Clothing Technology) vorgestellt, der den bisherigen Aufbaustudiengang ablösen wird.
The education in the field of mechanical engineering has a particular emphasis since formation of institution of education at Dresden. A postgraduate study for graduates of universities of applied sciences and for foreign applicants with a bachelor degree is offered in various branches of study at present in addition to the usual study. The process of studies with the phase of preliminary diploma orientating on fundamentals and the following phase of main studies in various branches of study orientating on research and practice is explained. The integrations between the branches of study are demonstrated, at which the relevant directions of study for the textile and clothing technology are particularly represented. In the course of process of Bologna various modifications are to make in education and the two-stage educational system bachelor/master is to be introduced according the sake of politics. It is discussed, how these changes affect education, mobility, quality and number of graduates, which requirements are connected with it for the faculty and which changes the industry can expect. The previous achieved state of reorganisation at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at TU Dresden is presented. In the future also furthermore it is to submit offers for graduates with bachelor degree. By way of example of it the master study course Textile and Ready-Made Clothing Technology, which is to be installed and accredited and which will replace the previous postgraduate course of study, is presented.
