Development of an Open Educational Content Recommendation system (as a knowledge base) in the field of Research Data Management (RDM)
Description
The project promotes the development of an Open Educational Content Recommendation system as a knowledge base. DALIA emphasizes the importance of education in data literacy (data use, data supply) and shows the way to sustainability in the use and supply of research data.
The knowledge base is founded on quality-assessed information, teaching and learning material and helps learners optimise their personal needs and goals by offering individual suggestions for educational material. For this purpose, the project focuses on use cases from which the needs of future users are identified. As a result, the knowledge base will refer to further information, teaching and learning materials, and best practices, and will furthermore identify personalised teaching and learning pathways.
Existing and future materials in the area of data literacy (i.e. Research Data Management and Data Science), will be integrated and made available through the close connection to the NFDI section "Training & Education" (edutrain). In addition, cooperations with other German and European platforms will be sought. The consortium of project partners brings in the necessary expertise with its comprehensive and interdisciplinary network of users and providers and ensures a future use of the project results.
