The Pile in 100-B Area reached rated power level of 250,000 KW on February 4, and the unit in 100-D Area on February 11. The Pile in 100-F Area was charged and started production on February 25. Six batches of metal were processed in the 200 West Area. The first material from the Isolation Building (231) was completed, packaged and delivered to Colonel Matthias on February 2, 1945. The roll increased 6.6% or 405 employees to a total of 6136. This reflects the addition of Construction employees to cover many overlapping functions during the final periods of construction activity. The Hanford Camp was closed on February 21, causing an influx of population to Richland and nearby communities. Housing units occupied are 4004 or 94% of the village.
